Most textbooks present archaeology only in relation to ancient Egypt, Pompeii, or Mesoamerica - civilizations with truly exciting histories. However, there is still much to be learned about the earliest times and people of our nation. In fact, with the Old Mobile Archaeology website, local educators can illustrate history and scientific inquiry to their students with the research and discoveries that are happening every day in the Mobile area.
