| This guide gives the location and text of historic markers
located in the city of Mobile. Included with the text is a related image of the person,
building, idea, and/or site associated with the marker. The markers are numbered
consecutively and separated into districts around the city. Maps of the districts are
provided. This guide was researched by Kevin Dillaber and prepared by Carol
Ellis for Mobile's Tricentennial Celebration (2002) with the generous support of the
