Many students entering college will change their major over their college career while they learn and explore areas of interest they had not considered.

Our Goals

The goal of the Biology Student Association is to inform students about the different aspects of biology, related research, and opportunities. BSA also allows students to interact with their peers and faculty, and address questions and concerns of academic matter. BSA helps get students involved in community services.

Who is it for?

BSA is open to any students and faculty interested. Formal meetings consist of a presentation from a faculty member or outside guests, students are encouraged to ask questions. Social meetings allow students to interact with their peers and meet new people with their interest. This is a good time to meet new people with your interests. Officers are more than happy to answer questions you are scared to ask your advisor (or direct you to someone who can). Even our formal meetings have a relaxed atmosphere. Learning and exploring your interests should be fun, not intimidating.

BSA is a student organization at the Univ. of South Alabama
