Membership

 

You must be either a student, faculty/ staff, retiree, Alumni Association Member, or University Affiliate in order to join the USA Recreation Center. It is not open to the general public. The membership fees schedule can be found above at the Recreation Center Information link. Currently enrolled students do not have to pay an additional fee in order to use the facility. It is already included in the activity fees. All of our memberships are a 12 month commitment. Every member must have an employee ID, active student ID, or a recreation center ID in order to enter the facility. If an ID has to be made for you, there will be a $5 charge for the ID.

 

Membership forms may be turned in to the front desk of the Student Recreation Center, faxed, or emailed to Shannon Rhodes.

The membership fees for faculty/staff will be payroll deducted. To enroll, please complete the three forms below and email them to shannonrhodes@southalabama.edu or fax them to 461-1491. Once the forms have been received by Campus Recreation, your payroll deduction will be set up and your current ID card will be activated for access to the faculty.

If you are currently a member of the University of South Alabama Alumni Association, you are eligible for membership to the Student Recreation Center. If you would like to join, please complete the three forms listed below. Do not fax them back to the Student Recreation Center. The forms must be returned in person in order to protect your account information, and you will need to show your Alumni Association membership card. Once your forms have been submitted, a Student Recreation Center Membership will be created for you to gain access to the new facility.

Primary members may purchase a membership for one other person living in their household. Proof of residency must be provide. The fee will be the same as the primary members fee.

 

Guest Pass

Guest fee is $10 per person, per day. Member must accompany and be present at signing guest in. Only 2 guests allowed per member.
