As a service to help you with course selection that will allow you to be prepared for various career paths, we have put together a series of recommended courses that you may want to consider for the following careers.  Remember that your departmental advisor can help you to choose within these lists as to which will best meet your specific career goals.

Pre-health Professions

Marine Biology

Generic Pre-health majors:

Biology majors planning a career in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, or other pre-professional fields should follow the recommended curriculum for biology majors.

A year of physics, Calculus I, and one or more semesters of genetics and cell biology are strongly recommended for pre-health professional students.
