Engineering Exploration

Engineering Exploration ("E Squared") is a student success initiative funded by the NSF that stimulates enrollment, enhances retention in engineering programs at the university, and increases the technical workforce.

General Information

Highly motivated, inquisitive incoming freshmen who earned a minimum Math ACT of 27 and a high school GPA 3.5 (out of 4.0) and who completed pre-calculus math, chemistry, and physics are invited to a two week non-residential experience  

–July 25 – August 5, 2016

–9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Get familiar with USA campus and campus life

NOTE:  E^2 students have earned higher GPAs and completed more credit hours toward graduation their first semester at South than their cohorts.
