The Mitchell DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) program, with a Management Concentration, is designed for business professionals and instructor-level faculty seeking a doctorate to pursue an academic career through 4-year universities. The program facilitates the transition toward a new career by developing a comprehensive understanding discipline. The curriculum encourages a balanced approach to learning both conceptual and methodological components.
Classes are led by doctoral faculty with extensive experience in university teaching and research. Mitchell DBA faculty are widely published in Management and work closely with the DBA students to guide their own research interests to publication.
Doctoral students are admitted each summer with classes beginning in May. The program is designed to allow all requirements to be completed in 36 months.
Extended Weekend Classes:
Courses meet Friday, Saturday and half-day Sunday. There are 11 per year during the first two years of the program. Meetings are less frequent during year 3 of the program.
