Comrades Of Courage is not just a University of South Alabama student organization. While our primary aim is to support all South Alabama students, staff, administration, and alumni, and especially those who may be limited by a physical or mental disability, we also try to extend our support to the surrounding Mobile Community. When we can we aid low-income families who have members with disabilities.

For example, during the Christmas and Thanksgiving seasons we try to find one low-income family in need, and procure, through generous donations, a full course meal for the entire family’ along with a monetary gift. This service is difficult when we cannot obtain donations of food, money, and volunteers for these philanthropic endeavors. Your support can make the difference. So please consider making a charitable donation to our organization.

Comrades Of Courage executive officers receive no salary for their hard work, often they spend their own meager funds for office-related expenses and also for the above charitable works. It is a burden that they carry willingly so that progress can be achieved on the South Alabama campus, as well as in the Mobile Community.
Nevertheless, Comrades Of Courage needs more funds than its officers or members can provide. In order for C O C to expand its services and wield more influence on the South Alabama campus we need to be able to create and distribute colorful flyers, banners, brochures, business cards, and letters. These items are quite expensive and we cannot begin accomplish it with member dues alone

We therefore ask you to consider a donation of your time, service (food), and money to our cause. We are listed as a 501(c) “Not for Profit” organization. Your charitable gifts to our organization may be tax deductible and we will provide you with a receipt and our tax ID information. 

We will also feature you, your company, or your organization on our website’s “Sponsors” page with a hot-link to your company’s website embedded in your logo. You will also be featured in our revolving “Thanks” page where we express our gratitude towards contributors of time and money.
