JaguarsCare - How it Works
Organize a Project in Your Community
Know a charity or organization in need? Put your organizational skills to use by coordinating a service site.
Alumni chapters & societies, student organizations and individuals are encouraged to to host service projects in their area for fellow members of our Jaguar community.
No project it ever too big, or too small! Jags can join forces with a project or event already planned in their area or work with local organizations to plan their own event. Already planning to volunteer for a community service project in April? It counts too – and we'll be happy to help find more volunteers for that project as well! The opportunities to get involved and participate in JaguarsCare are endless – we can't wait to see all the ways out alumni, students, faculty and staff give back to their communities.
Once you know the logistics of your project, please complete the Project Registration Form. The sooner we receive your form, the more publicity you project will receive! All projects submitted by March 1st will be included in the March edition of our e-newsletter, South Spots.
Volunteer for a Project
Want to lend a hand? Or two? We’re happy to have you on board! You can search for open service projects by region. Then, select the project you’d like to work on and register for the event. The project organizer will be in touch with further details.
Projects will be added as they are received. Don't see a project for you area? Check with us to see if there is one in the works or considering coordinating a project yourself!
