American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

Blended Learning Certification Course

We are excited to offer you the American Red Cross Lifeguard Blended Learning Certification Course. Blended learning combines online learning with on-site skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency.
The course provides entry level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and provide care until emergency medical services arrive and take over. You must pass a pretest and be at least 15 years old to take the course.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Courses are offered during Spring/Summer semesters each year.

The in-person skills sessions are taught at the Student Recreation Center Outdoor Pool and in the SRC Meeting room. The Student Recreation Center is located at 51 Stadium Blvd, Mobile Alabama 36688. You will enter through the first floor lobby and will then be directed on where to go. You must attend all the dates in the skill’s session. No exceptions or make-up classes are allowed.
