Private Swim Lesson registration begins Monday, April 2nd
You must be a current USA student or SRC member to register for private lessons.
If you are not comfortable learning how to swim in a group setting, have a child that needs individualized instruction, or you just want to receive one-on-one instruction for an upcoming triathlon or other aquatic event, then private swim lessons are a great option. The Campus Recreation Aquatics department offers private and semi-private lessons taught by American Red Cross certified instructors. Private lessons are available for current USA students, Student Recreation Center members, and their dependents. Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis.
Private lessons are taught to children ages 3 and up and adults. Private lessons for children are offered May 1 - August 31 each year and year round to current USA students and adults. We no longer offer private lessons for children under the age of 3 but recommend you join our Parent/Child class for this age group. The child we are teaching private lessons to must have a current SRC membership or summer pass to be registered for private lessons.
Due to the overwhelming need for private lessons, you can only register for 8 lessons maximum until all patrons registered have been given their private lesson session.
(30 minutes each)
