The Indian Students Association is  a non-profit association  of  students from India at the University of South Alabama. Its objectives are to uphold the diversity and cultural fabric of India, represent India at various International festivals and provide guidance to new and old students in various matters.

Every year a new committee of elected representatives continue to help  new and old students by maintaining a friendly and homely environment. Beginning every semester ISA tries to help new students to pick them from airport and provide at least 2 days of temporary accommodation. New students to the University of South Alabama have to inform either ISA  or the Office of International Services about their arrival. Indian students celebrate  events like -- Fresher's Party, Sports Night, Movie night, Independence Day celebrations and Festivals like Navarathri, Diwali, Holi, etc.

ISA is the proud winner of the Outstanding International Organization Award for the year 2004-05.
