In 2012, the North American Section meeting,
Pathology and Treatment of Heart Failure,
will be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada (May 28-31)

Meeting registration: opens Nov 30, 2011. Click here to register for the meeting (Register early! Early Registration at a reduced fee ends Apr 15, 2012!).
Poster Presentations: Abstract submission is now closed.
- Authors will be informed of the acceptance/rejection of their abstract by April 1, 2012.
- Posters will be mounted on 4' x 6' poster boards (landscape) on either Tuesday, May 29, 2012 (Poster Session I) or Wednesday, May 30, 2012 (Poster Session II).
- Posters must be put up between 7 - 8 AM or 10:20 - 10:40 AM (Poster Sessions I and II) and taken down between 6:30 and 7:30 PM (Poster Session I) or 5:30-6 PM (Poster Session II) of that day.
- Poster presenters must be present at their posters from 12:00 - 1:30 PM (Poster Sessions I and II) and from 4:30 - 6:00 PM (Poster Session I) or 4:30 - 5:30 PM (Poster Session II).
- All eligible early-career poster presenters who have asked to compete for the ISHR-International Poster Award will receive a sticker identifying their poster as a candidate for the award. Posters will be judged during the Poster Sessions, and the winner(s) will be announced at the Meeting Banquet.
Getting to Banff: The town of Banff, centrally located within beautiful Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mts, is only 80 mi (128 km) west of Calgary International Airport. Click here for transportation options from Calgary Airport to Banff.
Hotel reservations: Due to overwhelming response, rooms at the conference hotel (The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel) have been sold out. Click here to make hotel reservations at Banff Park Lodge in downtown Banff (Take advantage of their Summer Special rates: regularly $195/night, now $132/night). Other Banff hotels are also available in close proximity to the conference hotel.
