Travel Awards for Early Career Investigators to Attend the 2010 ISHR World Congress in Kyoto Japan

Thirty ($1000 each) travel awards will be made available (by the International ISHR) for early career investigators who are members of the North American Section to attend the World Congress in Kyoto, Japan May 13-16, 2010. Early career investigators who meet the following criteria are invited to submit by email a pdf file of the abstract and a brief CV (4 page NIH biosketch format). Email your submission to (llobaugh@nc.rr.com and murphy1@mail.nih.gov) by midnight EST on December 31, 2009.

i. Criteria:

1. Must be within 6 yrs post PHD/MD (or equivalent)

2. Must be the presenting author of the abstract that is submitted to 2010 World Congress. Note: you will be responsible for a separate submission to the World Congress (web address for submission: http://www.ishr2010.com/ ).

3. Must be a paid member of ISHR by November 30, 2009. It takes approximately 2 weeks to send the dues notice and receive payment; therefore new members MUST apply by November 15^th to assure that payment can be received and processed by November 30^th.

ii. Procedure:

1. Abstract must be submitted on line to the World Congress (http://www.ishr2010.com/). The deadline is December 31, 2009.
