• The American Heart Association's future meetings.

• Cardiac Metabolism in Health and Disease: Mitochondria and Oxidative Stress will be held August 23-26, 2009 in Padova, Italy.  Abstract deadline is June 15.  This is the 7th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Society for Heart and Vascular Metabolism, and is organized by Prof. Fabio Di Lisa and colleagues.

• The 6th International Meeting on Intensive Cardiac Care will be held on October 25-27, 2009 in Tel Aviv, Israel. This meeting is held under the auspices of the Israel Heart Society and in collaboration with the ESC Wroking Group on Acute Cardiac Care, the Israel Working Group on Intensive Cardiac Care of the IHS and the Society for Avancement of Cardiac Nursing in Israel.
