| Welcome to the website of the 2008 Midcontinent Paleobotanical Colloquium (MPC). The MPC is typically a 2 to 3 day event focusing on news, research, and discoveries about fossil plants. The atmosphere is relatively casual and students are encouraged to participate. The 25th anniversary of this conference is slated for March 14-16 convening at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Brian Axsmith is the official host, with Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Marine Sciences faculty and students pitching in to help. |
