August 5, 2008- Dr. Barbara Broome, USA’s Nursing Faculty Member, Named American Academy of Nursing Fellow  


  Dr. Debra Davis, Dean of the College of Nursing, has announced the state’s first Doctor of Nursing Practice degree program at the University of South Alabama  

 A new $45 million Health Sciences Building, now under construction, will bring the colleges of Nursing and Allied Health back to USA's main campus. Scheduled date of completion is Spring 2009 

The College of Nursing has moved into its new building at the USA Baldwin County Campus in Fairhope. The 20,503 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility provides nursing students with hands-on equipment including three computerized fully automatic Human Patient Simulators.
