Academic Research Center aka Computer Lab
The ARC is the only place in the library to use Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. University ID is required
to use this room. Research
and write all in the same place. This is also the only place in the library where you can view or print files from USB/flash drives, floppy disks, or CDs.
Other
things you need to know:
- Printing
is through the TRACcard system and costs 10¢ a page available for
pick up in "the Pit" across from the Circulation desk.
- Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, Flash, Windows Media Player, Quicktime on all machines
- Bring
your own headphones
- Disks
and flash/thumb/USB drives enabled
- Ability
to burn to CD and DVDs
- ARC hours differ from library hours - call 460-7028 for the hours.
