Down the steps or the ramp from the Circulation Desk are the doors to
the Instructional Media Center. The
IMC contains shelves of DVDs, videotapes
and CDs. These are available for check out. Equipment needed to view or
listen to these disks and tapes is also available in small media rooms.
Other
things you need to know:
- Feature
films, as well as educational videos, are available for checkout.
- All
media items are listed on the USA Catalog. Try an 'author' search for
your favorite actor's last name.
- You
may check out up to five media items at a time for two weeks. The late
fee is $0.50 a day.
- It
houses a new, but developing, juvenile literature collection too.
- Mobile
County Public School textbooks are now available for review by teachers
and the general public.
