Faculty position in Acting and Directing
The University of South Alabama Dramatic Arts Department invites applications for a full-time faculty position in acting and directing starting August 15, 2008. Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include teaching beginning and advanced acting, voice for the actor, and possible courses in other areas of expertise. Direct at least one main-stage production each year, supervise student-directed workshop productions and assist with student recruitment. University service and ongoing professional creative activity are expected. Preferred qualifications: Terminal degree in acting/directing and professional acting/directing experience.
