of Dramatic Arts Assistantships The Department of Dramatic Arts offers a number of assistantships to dedicated and qualified drama majors. The technical theatre awards require recipients to work in the scene and/or costume shop for a specified number of hours per week. The acting assistantships require students to audition for shows but, if not cast, to work in other drama areas assigned by the faculty advisor. The amounts of the awards vary.
