The USA CTEREC recently completed construction of a wave basin for research and education. The 20x30x3 foot basin is on the USA campus in the College of Engineering Laboratory Building. It has a custom-built, programmable bulkhead wavemaker, capable of making waves of any shape. This facility will be used to study waves and their effect on beaches and built infrastructures such as roads, bridges, and breakwaters.
