Alpha Epsilon Delta is a national honor society for students preparing for careers in the graduate health professions (medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, public health, and more).

The Alabama Zeta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta was founded at the University of South Alabama in 1980.


T.G. Jackson, Ph.D., Professor of Chemistry, has served as our chapter advisor since 1980.

Cindy Stanfield, Ph.D., Professor of Physiology, now also serves as our chapter advisor.
