Ethnic NewsWatch is the newest addition to the library's "collection" of full-text databases. It's located as the last item under the EBSCO database list and can be accessed from home as well as from computers on campus. You will have to enter your SSN if you connect from home to verify that you are student, faculty or staff at the University of South Alabama. From their documentation: "Ethnic NewsWatch is a comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. This unique body of materials covers a wide range of current topics and countless other social, political and educational subjects. Ethnic NewsWatch also includes worldwide coverage of issues in Ireland, Israel and the Middle East, Mexico, Bosnia, Armenia, China, Nigeria and the Ukraine among other countries. Ethnic NewsWatch is updated monthly and consists of full text articles from over 200 publications, many of which were founded more than 100 years ago. Information in the database is easily accessed using free text and field searching. Searchable in both English and Spanish, Ethnic NewsWatch includes over 125,000 articles in Spanish. Ethnic NewsWatch Complete contains over 630,000 full text articles from 1990 to the present, with some titles dating back to the 1980's. "
