This utility is used to find the full-text of articles in journals to which we subscribe. Important concepts: online coverage, full-text access, print holdings, embargoed, delayed.
First time users must fill out a registration form. After doing this they may log in and request books, articles, dissertations, etc. The items we can obtain from Alabama and reciprocating libraries incur no cost to the student. Dissertations and theses from out-of-state may cost betweem $5 and $20 to borrow.

ACM Online Guide to Computing Literature. From 1985. Updated weekly
This is a bibliography of computing literature covering publications from more than 3000 publishers including the ACM journals. These other journals will not be present in fulltext, but may be subscribed to by the library. Always check "Our Journal List" on the Homepage. See the ACM Classification System.ACM Digital Library
Full text of every article published by ACM, including over 50 years of archives. The Digital Library Search mode allows you to search ACM publications by keyword, phrase, expression or author. Searching can be limited by publication, classification and date. Browse provides you with a tables of contents service. Full-text articles require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Note: Use "quotation marks" to contain phrases and an *asterick for truncation.IEEE Xplore Electronic access to the full-text of IEEE journals (1998 and later) except IEEE Spectrum, IEEE Potentials, and Proceedings of the IEEE. Citations are available for journals and proceedings to which we do not subscribe. The University Library also has older issues on microfiche.
IET Digital Library Full-text of IET Journals 2007-current and the previous titles, IEE Proceedings, 1994-2006. The University Library also has 1980-2006 issues in print. Does not include Electronics Letters and Micro & Nano Letters.

Dissertation Abstracts Free online access to theses and dissertations done at USA. Some dissertations are available for InterLibrary Loan. Some are not, depending upon the lending library's policy. Theses are available for check out in the University Library Reference area.
