Meal Plan Rates (click to expand/collapse)

All students living in University housing are required to have a meal plan.

Living where you learn means that eventually, you'll need to eat. With the dining experience at the University of South Alabama you'll never have to worry. For a map of all South Alabama Dining locations, please click here.

The meals portion of the Meal Plans are available at the Fresh Food Company, South Alabama's all-you-care-to-eat dining location. The “Fresh” is located on the 2nd floor of the Dining Hall adjacent to the residential communities.

Bonus Bucks & Dining Dollars supplement your meal plan & can be used at all South Alabama Dining Locations. Unused Bonus Bucks roll from fall to spring. Any Bonus Bucks remaining at the end of Spring will expire. Dining Dollars work just like Bonus Bucks but are added separately & never expire

Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card & the meal is deducted from your account automatically with your balance on every receipt.

Freshmen & Sophomores (Residents with 63 credit hours or less) may select any of the All-Access Jag Pass meal plans. Juniors, Seniors, & Graduates (Residents with 64 credit hours or more) may select any of the meal plans listed. Credit hours must be accepted & approved by the University Registrar's Office.

Summer Housing & Dining Rates (click to expand/collapse)

Each summer, a select few residence halls are designated for summer school student housing. This allows summer students the opportunity to have a better residential community experience; at the same time, it allows our Maintenance & Facilities teams to go through each hall over the summer & perform any necessary repairs, renovations, or upgrades.

For Summer 2014, the six (6) halls that will be open are Gamma 2 - Gamma 7.
